New!!! From Quilter Labs .......................The Travis Toy TT12 Steel Guitar Amplifier Bundle…………..
This is a great new Steel Guitar amp from Quilter Labs that will fill a void, a small and portable yet powerful compact amp. The amp is 200 Watts of power, powered by the Quilter Tone Block 202 head which is removable should you want to place the speaker cabinet in another area such as an isolation room. The speaker is a 12” Signature Travis Toy speaker developed in conjunction with Quilter and Eminence. It is a culmination of Travis Toy’s effort to have a system which would produce great tone, effortless performance yet with honest value..
If you are not familiar with Travis Toy he is the Steel plyer for Rascal Flatts as well as doing studio work and working for other top draw artists. The end results is a great amp in a size that makes it extremely portable, at 16” high, 18” wide and 10 ½ inches deep weighing only 27 pounds. I like to refer this as the Mighty Mouse of Steel amps.
The Quilter removable Tone Block 202 head, the signature Eminence Double T 12” Neodymium Speaker (light weight yet powerful), Laser engraved Tilt Back Legs with a Travis Toy custom artist badge. The major feature is the portability, speaker and power. No need to have a portable amp with only 80 watts of power. Along with the SteelAire Combo Amp and the SteelAire Power Head you have the best Steel Guitar Amplification for today’s Steel Guitarist.

Great News!!!!! The Tone Block 202
We are thrilled that Quilter Labs is now offering the Tone Block 202 as a stand alone item. If you already have a loaded Speaker cabinet or multiple Speaker cabinets and you are looking for that Quilter quality sound the Tone Block 202 is a great way to go. I ran the Tone Block 202 through a Cabinet with a 12" 8 Ohm JBL and it was great. I also ran it through a Cabinet with a 4 Ohm 15" JBL and got the same results.
The unit measures out at 8 3/4" x 7" x 3" and weighs 3 lbs. This allows you to place the 202 separate and apart from the cabinet. I am in the process of recording a CD going over the 202 and it's features plus going through the process of setting my tone. I will include this with your purchase of the Tone Block 202.
A padded carrying bag with a separate storage compartment for your cables is available as a separate purchase. I strongly advise that you add this on to your purchase.

The "Steelaire" Combo Amp
Are you looking for a powerful amp that is portable? The answer is the Quilter Labs Steelaire Combo, Steelaire Pro and the Steelaire Rackmount Head. The Combo amp is what I like to nickname Mighty Mouse because it delivers 200 Watts into a 4 Ohm designated 15” Speaker weighing 35 pounds………..That’s right 35 pounds! The Dimensions are 21x23x9.
Pat Quilter worked closely with the Eminence Speaker Company to develop a speaker using the JBL D130 as a model. Giving you a creamy full bodied tone with crisp highs so you can expect a big full tone with incredibly clean highs. You will be amazed at the tone from this open back cabinet.
The entire Steelaire Series gives the Steel Player and any guitarist a range of options. You can go from a rich clean tone to a distortion unit, so no need for a separate unit, included is an adjustable Tremolo unit.
The Steelaire Pro is a unique configuration with all of the features of the Combo amp. It combines two products in one, the Steelaire Rackmount Head which slides into a deeper, taller cabinet. The rack mountable head can be removed from the cabinet and put into a2 space rack, separating it from the cabinet which you can place away from you or if you are in the studio into an isolation booth. With all this the entire package remains at 35 pounds……Amazing…Plus the cover for the amp is included.
I have recorded a CD going through the features of the Steelaire combo and setting it up to get my tone. I have three different settings that I go through.
I will include the CD with the purchase of the Steelaire Combo.
The next product in the Steelaire product line is the Steelaire Rackmount Head.
This is the same power head that is in the Steelaire Combo and the Steelaire Pro. I put the powerhead into my rack case with an effects processor going into two 12” speaker cabinets with JBL K130 8 Ohm speakers and….. wow what a big sound! With the ability to color the tone and manage the gain with the Limiter you can get any tonal response you want. From full fat tone to clean, clean highs with all the headroom you will ever need. Both the Steelaire Combo and the Steelaire Pro come standard with a heavy duty Nylon cover.
Features of theSteelaire product line are: 200 Watts (400 Watts of internal headroom for maximum Voltage swing) will fit in a standard 2 space effects rack and weighs just 7.2 lbs.
Dual Inputs: Supports multiple instruments or a buffered pedal loop - Input Mode Selector: Selects Chan 1, Mute, Chan 2 or Chan 1+2
4 Band EQ: Bass (100Hz), Low Mids (500 Hz), High Mids (2K Hz), Treble (5K Hz) - Limiter: Fully adjustable from clean to dirty……(Great Feature)
Tremolo: Fully Adjustable depth and rate - Reverb: Adjustable depth, dwell and rate….(Another great feature!) - Master: Adjusts output power from 0 to 200 Watts - Dual Speaker Outputs: ¼” from 2 to 16 Ohms - Remote Control Connection: Accepts RJ45 cable
Effects Loop: Send, Return, and a 9 volt DC out, 200 Ma max- Direct Out: 600 Ohm, isolated, balanced, 300 mV peak
Includes Cover For Steelaire Combo Amp
Available Optional Accessories: Floor or Leg mount 6 way remote controller with cable, Tilt Back Legs.
The setup CD that I have recorded for the Steelaire combo will work with the power head and will be included withyour purchase.
We have the Combo and the Rackmount plus the NEW TT12 in stock and ready for sale. Great pricing available upon request, and free shipping in the Continental US, call Frenchy at 505 864-2966 or email me at frenchy@ frenchyspedalsteel.com
Bottom Line...In my opinion, Quilter Labs has changed the dynamics of Pedal Steel Guitar Amplification. That is why I have recorded a Quick Start CD for both the Steelaire Combo and the Tone Block 202. I go over all the features of both the Steelaire Combo and the Tone Block 202. I will include a respective CD for the Steelaire combo, Steelaire Rackmount and with the TT12, the TT15 and if purchased separately the Tone Block 202. This will quickly get you familiarized with each product. Again, we have great pricing!
